This is immediately turned into theatre that authentically reflects the teller’s experience. Everyone present witnesses the enactment and is affected by it. As well as the general public, audience groups include refugee and asylum seekers, women who have experienced domestic violence and teenage girls. Tarte Noire also provide entertainment at hen parties and perform at a range of conferences, events and festivals such as the Westcountry Storytelling Festival and the Grand Witches Ball.
