Celeste & Danielle will be travelling from California to offer this one of a kind experiential couples training.
Whether you are a therapist or a coach, I highly recommend the Somatica Couples Training. It has given me a powerful paradigm to work with couples who are having challenges around intimacy, relationships, and sex. Through this unique, holistic, embodied approach, couples learn how to care for and love each other, resolve the inevitable conflicts that arise, deal with disappointment without blame or shame, and deepen their relationships and intimacy. In my practice, it is now not at all uncommon for couples to enter my office in conflict and leave holding hands.
What You Will Learn
Somatica’s 10-Step Roadmap for Balanced and Fulfilling Relationships
Understand, map, and intervene in couple’s negative dynamics/vortex to turn the energy towards enhanced intimacy
Explore a couple’s needs for both individuation and attachment and learn how to support a couple in balancing these needs
Learn what makes sex hot for couples and how to approach this in your coaching or therapy practice and in your own relationship
Maximize the sexual satisfaction of each person in the couple and create compatibility bridges
Make sex hot again (or for the first time)
Identify and process disappointments in couple’s relationships to promote growth and deepen connection
Special sexual topics include dealing with affairs, sexless marriage, sexual dysfunction, low sexual desire, non-monogamy/open relationships/polyamory
This training offers the foundation you need to add couples work to your practice or enrich the couple's work you already offer.
You will come away with the skills and confidence you need to navigate the unique challenges of working with couples.
The tools and the system that Celeste & Danielle offer in this professional couples training have become an essential part of my practice. I completed the training with a new confidence about my ability to de-escalate conflict and facilitate vulnerable communication.

About Celeste & Danielle
Danielle Harel received her Ph.D. and Doctorate degree in Human Sexuality from The Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco. She has a graduate degree in Clinical Social Work (MSW) and a Bachelor’s (BA) degree in Psychology and Educational Counselling.
Danielle brings her passion, depth, intuition and magnetizing personality to her teaching and coaching. Harnessing her extensive training in sexology, psychology and body-based modalities including Hakomi, attachment theory, character theory and neural patterning, she leads people into reaching their fullest personal and sexual potential. Danielle is particularly talented in helping her clients and students release shame and accept themselves fully. She offers her clients a unique, experiential and powerful process to transform their relationships, create deep and loving connections and live their lives passionately.
Celeste Hirschman received her Master’s Degree in Human Sexuality Studies from San Francisco State University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Women’s Studies at the University of California at Santa Cruz (UCSC).
Celeste brings her unconditional love, presence, erotic energy and insight to her teaching and sessions, offering an open, safe and exciting container where her clients can explore every aspect of themselves and create a passionate, joyful and sexually fulfilled life. She uses her training in attachment psychology, sociology, gender and women’s studies, and body-based modalities to engage with her clients in real-time experiences where they learn to transform old patterns and incorporate new possibilities into every aspect of their lives, including their loving and intimate relationships.
Celeste & Danielle met at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (IASHS) in the Sexological Bodywork Certification Training. They taught the Sexological Bodywork Training for 5 years during which time they also teamed up and began to develop the Somatica Method of Sex and Relationship Coaching. From their experiences working with clients, their studies of Social Work and therapeutic training, they began to realize that there was work in the realm of sex and relationships that was beyond the boundaries of traditional therapy. At the same time, they found that clients coming in for Sexological Bodywork often also had a need for interpersonal coaching around communication, sexual intimacy, and emotional connection.
They were inspired to create the Somatica Method - a holistic method of sex and relationship coaching covering every aspect of sex and relationships, from emotions and communication to passion and sexual pleasure. They believe that the skills required to have a good sexual, intimate, and emotional connection are learnable and teachable and they wanted their clients and the clients of their students to have the opportunity to practice real-time emotional and erotic intimacy beyond what therapy could offer and within boundaries that would feel comfortable to the client and practitioner alike.
